For our church-wide retreat, we will venture to the mountains of Virginia to CrossRoads Camp in Lowesville for 2 days of reflecting and visioning into God’s intended future for GABC. We will begin with dinner on Friday evening, October 18th at 6:30 pm and conclude around 3:00 pm on Saturday, October 19th with an optional hike in the late afternoon. The fall foliage will be beautiful, the fellowship with GABC friends will be rich, and the discernment time will be invaluable.
This event is led by Dr. Fallen solely for GABC, and the retreat space is dedicated to us.
The total cost for this retreat is $110/person for single hotel occupancy and $95/person for double occupancy. For families with children, we reserved the “House of Happiness” at Camp for $80/person, $250 family maximum. (Please see Dr. Fallen for costs on children under 5 years of age.) The cost includes 3 meals and childcare.
Our Wednesday Family Night Dinners resume on September 11 at 5:45. This week’s menu features meatloaf and mashed potatoes! The cost is $6/person, $2/child, and $18/family. New this year - you may pay with a credit or debit card! This week’s program will feature stories and sharing from our youth about their summer of mission and ministry!
