Easter Egg Hunt! 4/8/17

GABC will have their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  The Recreation Committee is asking for donations of individually wrapped candy for this event.  If you would like to donate candy, please contact Mallory Gerber Adams, Lewis Melton, Cheryl Tilley, Kim Anderson, Renee Williams or Debbie Gordon (Recreation Committee).

Youth News!

The GABC Youth will be going to King’s Fest on Thursday, June 22, 2017. For those of you haven’t been before; King’s Fest is an all day event at King’s Dominion. We will go in the morning and enjoy the park with rides, games, etc. In the evening, Christian bands, speakers, etc. perform giving testimonies and also live performances. The night we are going, the following artists are performing: For King & Country, Crowder, Chris Tomlin, and Ryan Stevenson. The cost is $25 per person. If you already have a season pass, the cost is $14. As always, we will need some chaperones for this event. The signup deadline for this event is TODAY, so that we can take advantage of the Early Bird special. Please let B.J. know if you are interested in attending King’s Fest 2017.

The Yard Sale is Almost Here!

The GABC Annual Yard Sale and BBQ is coming on April 1 from 6 a.m. to Noon.  Our goal is to pre-sell 250 lbs. of BBQ.  We are selling a meal for $20.00 (this includes 2 lbs. of BBQ, 1 pint of slaw and 8 buns) OR you can purchase BBQ by the pound for $8.00/lb.  Please pay when you sign up for your purchase.  BBQ will be ready for pick up on Saturday, April 1 at 8 a.m. and must be picked up by Noon.  If you would like to donate items for the yard sale (no TV’s or computers), volunteer to help, or purchase BBQ, please contact Pamela Steinruck at psteinruck23@gmail.com or 804-334-5311.  We have a couple of full rooms already and are currently putting items in the Contemporary Women’s classroom.  All proceeds benefit youth mission trips.  We are in need of hangers, plastic and paper grocery bags too!  Thank you!!!
