Teens Opposing Poverty or T.O.P is a monthly intergenerational mission of the church, which the Youth lead. Every month the students give up a Sunday afternoon to be witnesses of the Body of Christ through serving homeless and impoverished friends at Monroe Park in downtown Richmond. The last Sunday of every month the youth gather after worship to prepare a lunch of hot dogs, chips, cookies, fruit, and water. The youth provide nourishment, build relationships, and expand community throughout the city of Richmond. In the winter months, students also collect sweaters and jackets to provide a bit of warmth into a cold world. If you would like to volunteer to get involved with T.O.P, please contact Allen Jenkins.
