Seasonal Activities

Glen Allen Baptist Church offers numerous opportunities for Christian fellowship.  Some of our most popular events are outlined below.  We invite you to join us.  If you have any questions please call the church office at (804) 672 – 6648.

Annual Fall Festival

Our annual Fall Festival aka “Trunk or Treat” brings the community together to enjoy fall and Halloween in a safe and fun environment. Children and adults are encouraged to dress in their costumes and trick or treat among the decorated trunks of the cars in the parking lot around Glen Allen Baptist Church. There is a costume parade, a huge inflatable slide, delicious fall treats, a cake walk, and numerous games to keep everyone entertained.

Annual Children’s Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Egg Hunt is held on the church grounds on a Saturday morning before Easter. The children are placed into groups according to age to enjoy the hunt. In addition to the hunt itself, there are numerous game stations filled with exciting activities for kids of all ages. The Egg Hunt is a community focused event that allows families from all over Glen Allen to be involved and have some fun!

 “Pignic” Picnic

This annual event is a favorite of all ages. Barbecue and home-made ice cream are enjoyed on the church grounds.

Glen Allen Day

Glen Allen Day is held every year in the early fall.  The entire Glen Allen community comes together to enjoy the wonderful area surrounding us.  A parade with floats, banners, and balloons ends at a festival in Crump Park.  The festival includes music, food, games, crafts, vendors, and much more!  Glen Allen Baptist Church participates by creating a float for the parade, and then setting up a tent at the festival.

Santa Supper
